We are not just what we eat, we are also what we digest. This morning brekkie is great for feeding your gut as it is based on kefir, – a great source of good gut bacteria.
1 cup oats 1 1/2 to 2 cups dairy or coconut kefir Grated apple 4 T raw or baked granola or any mix of nuts, seeds, dried fruit Slices of fresh fruit (i. e. banana, berries) Shake of cinnamon Drizzle of honey ( manuka is the best!) 1 T bee pollen
Soak oats in kefir in a sealed glass jar over night. Oats should be covered by the liquid totally. In the morning mix together all the rest of the ingredients and enjoy!
